Please note that we apparently had some trouble with the video during the show and the recording isn’t the best quality, so if you want — try to watch it — otherwise these show notes will need to suffice.
Brian referred to a patent that he filed today, and it is for MultiView. The product he has been working on with BitGravity.
Then we watched a video about a sailboat that has “wings” or “foils” under the boat which raise it from the water as it zips across the water. You need to watch the video to believe it.
We kick off the show by sharing what we’ll do in exchange for a fruit. Brian will apparently code for a banana, and Chris will design for a pomegranate. Yes, a pomegranate.
We talked a bit about the *new* web site for Super Wicked Awesome. Yes, after a long period without a respectable web site we have something respectable.
Brian shared that he is working on an overhaul of Crappy Graphs, his site dedicated to interesting graphs that are generated by visitors to his site.
Brian shared his mantra: “I’m good at pretending I know what I’m doing.” Then immediately shared that you can watch The Pretender on Hulu.
Next, Brian shared the video of I Love Sketch, which we discovered on The 404 Blog. Sketch is a “Mind-blowingly fast 3-D sketching application.” And believe me, it blew my mind. Hence my crazy behavior on the show.
After that, with no apparent cause for concern we Rickrolled the audience by showing the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade video of Rick Astley lip syncing on a parade float.
Brian shared some photos from his recent trip to Disneyland (is this trip number four this year?). View them on his Brightkite page, or click here for the one where Brian plays Rock, Paper, Scissors while on a roller coaster.
